About

I’m Ayaan — a student researcher in biochemistry and computer science, passionate about using science and technology to help society.

I’m currently a Researcher at MIT Martinos Center. A Research Assistant at Tufts University in Child Study & Human Development, while also continuing my research at Cedars-Sinai on machine learning applications in pathology. I led a DNA methylation project that achieved 99.49% accuracy and collaborated across interdisciplinary teams to solve complex research and engineering problems.

Previously, I worked at Northeastern University, focusing on innovations in biomaterials and biochemistry. Before that, I was at Harvard Medical School, studying the effects of external stimulants on adolescent brain development and growth.

I also have experience at UC Berkeley, where I analyzed and synthesized neuroscience literature to support lab research studies and help inform ongoing experimental design.
